Reserving a Catawba Coton

   At Catawba Cotons, our breeding program is intentionally small and carefully managed so that every puppy receives the individual attention, early development, and thoughtful placement this remarkable breed deserves. Because of this, only a limited number of Catawba Coton puppies are available each year, and all reservations are handled through a formal waitlist and short phone interview process.

Each of our puppies represents generations of careful breeding and thoughtful selection. Our puppies come from health-tested parents and strong champion bloodlines known for their stable temperaments, intelligence, and eager-to-please personalities. These qualities are what make the Coton de Tulear such a treasured companion in homes with children, seniors, and families of all kinds.

   Every Catawba Coton puppy is raised in a loving family environment and receives an exceptional foundation before joining their new home. From the earliest weeks, our puppies are carefully introduced to important developmental experiences, including elements of puppy culture, early socialization, and foundational life skills training, such as;  introduction to crate training, potty training, basic leash manners, and polite mealtime etiquette. They are also extensively socialized with children, large and small dogs, and often taken on regular car rides from an early age.

   A non-refundable reservation fee of $500 is required to secure a position on our waitlist or to reserve an available puppy. This reservation must be received before a Catawba Coton puppy is removed from the list of available puppies or considered adopted. This system ensures fairness to all families who are patiently waiting for the right puppy to join their home.

Each puppy is placed with a written contract designed to protect both the buyer and the breeder, ensuring that the long-term wellbeing of every  puppy we place. We remain available to our puppy families as a trusted resource and throughout the life of their dog.​

   The price of a Catawba Coton puppy typically ranges between $2,500 and $3,500, depending on whether the puppy is being placed as a companion pet or in an approved show home. All puppies are placed in approved homes only, as thoughtful placement is one of the most important responsibilities of any serious breeder.​ (*separate pricing for adult dogs)
